The Broad Museum is here...Yah!

The Broad is a new contemporary art museum built by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. The museum, which is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler will offer free general admission. The museum will be home to the nearly 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. With its innovative “veil-and-vault” concept, the 120,000-square-foot, $140-million building will feature two floors of gallery space to showcase The Broad’s comprehensive collection and will be the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation’s worldwide lending library.

Reserve Your Free Ticket Now!

Free tickets are now available for visits beginning on September 22 and running through the end of the year.

General admission to The Broad is free. Advance online reservations are encouraged, but not required. For visitors who want to ensure a specific date and time for their visit, and avoid wait times during busy periods, The Broad provides advance reservation of timed tickets online at no charge. Tickets have entry times beginning every half hour. Free tickets are now available for reservation for visits running through the end of the year. Tickets will also be available for same day or future visits onsite at the museum beginning September 20. Please note that advance online tickets are no longer available for opening day on September 20.

Where can I reserve tickets?

Online at the above link. Note that we do not have a ticket office onsite at the museum in advance of opening. Once the museum opens, you'll be able to reserve tickets online or onsite for same-day or future tickets.

I'd like to attend opening day at The Broad on September 20.

Unfortunately, advance online tickets are no longer available for September 20, 2015. A limited number of same-day tickets will be available onsite at the museum for opening day.

How much do tickets cost?

General admission to The Broad is free!

How do timed tickets work?

Tickets have entry times beginning every half hour. There is no time limit (besides the end of the day) for how long you can spend in the galleries.

How many tickets can I reserve at a time?

You can reserve up to 9 tickets at a time. For parties of 10 or more, you will need to reserve tickets in multiple transactions. Or, learn more about self-guided group visits.

I saw that Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room installation is going to be on view. How do I get tickets to see that?

This experiential artwork has limited capacity and during high-demand periods, a separate free timed reservation will be required. General admission ticket holders will be able to reserve time in the Infinity Mirrored Room after arrival at the museum. Time in the Infinity Mirrored Room cannot be reserved in advance of your visit.

I'd like to reserve tickets for a date in 2016. When will these be available?

We will release tickets for dates in 2016 later this fall. Please make sure to sign-up for our email list to hear when future tickets are released. Or check our website after opening.
